Europäischer Wettbewerb Kunst 2021

Europäischer Wettbewerb

Der Europäische Wettbewerb ist der größte Schülerwettbewerb weltweit. Alleine in Rheinland-Pfalz haben etwa 6000 Schülerinnen und Schüler daran teilgenommen.

Das diesjährige Thema war die Auseinandersetzung mit Nachhaltigkeit. Hierbei ging es konkret um den ökologischen Fußabdruck in Europa, mit dem sich unsere Schüler auseinandergesetzt haben. Je nach Altersstufe gab es unterschiedliche Themenansätze. Während sich jüngere Schüler mit den Thema Insekten und deren Bedeutung für uns auseinandergesetzt haben, sollten die Schüler unserer Oberstufe den Begriff „Greenwashing“ visualisieren.

„Greenwashing“ begegnet uns tagtäglich in der Werbung. Uns werden ökologische Maßnahmen vorgegaukelt, damit wir bestimmte Produkte kaufen oder bei einem „grünen“ Discounter einkaufen. Unsere Schüler haben einen kritischen Blick hinter die Kulissen von beispielsweise Fast-Food-Ketten geworfen und Erkenntnisse daraus auf die Leinwand gebannt.
